Our best friends at the time had invited us both to rollerskating, they were dating at the time. We knew we were showing up as third wheels but didn’t know of each other. We immediately caught each other’s eye and began to skate together. The rest of the night we talked and clicked like we had known each other for a long time. From then, we had two weeks to speed date before I (Emma) left for Bali. Jack asked me to be his girlfriend the night before I left, and the rest is history! So yes, we started our dating with 4 months of long distance, but we wouldn’t change a thing!
